The Junior Investor Relations Officer (JIRO) of Canadian Adventure Charters (CAC) Inc, holds a successful portfolio working with the company’s relationships with investors and analysts within Fortune 500 Companies, managing $50M-$500M annual marketing and portfolios or similarly large organizations. Responsible for providing the investment community with accurate and timely information about the company’s or potential private or public investor, financial performance and prospects. Preferably have a minimum of 5 years of experience as Junior Investor Relations Officer (JIRO) working in a contact center.

The opening positions serve as junior representatives supporting Senior Investment Relations Officers (SIRO) who will work under the Chief Investment Officer and the Manager of Operations & Investor Relations.

The position requires knowledge of the AI telecommunication industry and familiarity with call center & contact center software such as Ring Central, Salesforce Service Cloud 360, Dialpad, 3CX, CloudTalk, Fresh Desk, Vonage, or similar software. The (JIRO) is responsible for raising private and public investor capital by deeply understanding the investors’ expectations to better present CACs value story and how that differentiates the company from competitors and competing investment opportunities in the market.

As a Junior Investor Relations Officer (JIRO), you will communicate and follow CAC’s mission, goals, operating principles, and strategic actions. You will promote Newfoundland & Labrador and The Northwest Passage, at charter destinations within CAC’s selected charter operations loop into Newfoundland, Labrador, Northwest Passage, Spain, Canary Islands, Bahamas, and the Antarctic. Be part of the team that builds a charter yachting destination industry in Newfoundland & Labrador, with our yachting hub for Newfoundland & Labrador & Northwest Passage Charter Adventures, Submarine Dive Expeditions, Exploration, Treasure & Shipwreck Recovery, Underwater Film/Documentary Entertainment, Climate Change/Global Warming Research, including Marine Research for Medical Cures for Diseases.

Junior Investor Relations Officer (JIRO)

REPORTING STRUCTURE

Reports to the Senior Investor Relations Officer (SIRO) at Canadian Adventure Charters.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be the first point of contact for new investor prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward.
  • Make cold calls articulating company strategy to investors, focusing on why that strategy is best positioned to unlock shareholder value to attract and retain long-term investors.
  • Answer incoming calls from prospective investors.
  • Drive awareness through regular email campaigns, targeted calls, and discovery meetings with potential investors.
  • Organize and participate in earnings calls and investor meetings, presenting information about the company’s financial performance and answering questions from participants.
  • Provide support to the Senior Investor Relations Officer.
  • Communicate the company story and differentiators consistently, comprehensively, and accurately with existing and prospective investors.
  • Communicate with current and potential shareholders, answering their questions and providing them with information about the company.
  • Proactively identify issues that investors care about.
  • Manage and align expectations via clear, consistent dialogue with the markets around earnings, net debt levels, shareholder remuneration, corporate strategy, and market conditions.
  • Establish, build, and maintain relationships with shareholders to reinforce management and company credibility.
  • Find new, good-fit investors for the company to diversify the shareholder base.
  • Develop and maintain corporate disclosure policy.
  • Report strategic feedback and possible issues, to help senior management refine CAC’s strategy.
  • Work closely with department directors to brainstorm process improvements.
  • Ensure that the company complies with securities laws and regulations.
  • Deal with complaints or doubts to safeguard the company’s reputation.

Operations/Quality Assurance and Investor Satisfaction Excellence

  • Day-to-day cold calls and contact center operations, email support, chat services and more.
  • Exceptional investor experiences through inbound and outbound calls, email, live chat, screen sharing, social media, text messaging, video conferencing, and more.
  • Handle key performance indicators (KPIs) such as call volume, response times, and investor satisfaction to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure that investor interactions meet or exceed company standards.
  • Address investor escalations and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Maintain an investor-centric focus, seeking ways to enhance the overall investor experience across the call and contact center.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Own a cell phone or landline phone.
  • Have a laptop or computer with internet access.
  • Be able to work at least 6 hours a day.
  • Proven track record of cold calling.
  • 5 years’ experience in Call and Contact centers.
  • Independent contractor agent/can work from anywhere.

JOB KNOWLEDGE

The work requires the following education, knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • 5 years of experience in the industry.
  • Knowledge of the AI telecommunication industry.
  • Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to persuasively present information.
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas, preferably over the phone.
  • Persistent and results-oriented.
  • Patient and able to handle customer rejection.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, Tourism, Luxury Super Yachting Industry or a related field, or a high school diploma with 5 years’ experience in the industry.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Mental Demands: The Junior Investor Relations Officer (JIRO) for the contact center handles a variety of tasks and deadlines and may find the demands to be stressful.
