JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Investor Relations Officer (SIRO) of Canadian Adventure Charters Ltd holds a successful portfolio working with company’s relationships with investors and analysts within Fortune 500 Companies, managing $50M-$500M annual marketing and portfolios or similarly large organizations. Responsible for providing the investment community with accurate and timely information about the company’s or potential private or public investor, financial performance, and prospects. Preferably have a minimum of 5 years of experience as Senior Investor Relations Officer (SIRO) working in a contact center.

The opening position serves as Senior Investment Relations, working under the Chief Investment Officer and the Manager of Operations & Investor Relations.

The position requires knowledge of the AI telecommunication industry and familiarity with call center & contact center software such as Ring Central, Salesforce Services Cloud 360, Dialpad, 3CX, CloudTalk, Fresh Desk, Vonage, or similar software. The SIRO is responsible for raising private and public investor capital by deeply understanding the investors’ expectations to better present CACs value story and how that differentiates the company from competitors and competing investment opportunities in the market.

As a Senior Investor Relations Officer (SIRO), you will communicate and follow CAC’s mission, goals, operating principles, and strategic actions. You will promote Newfoundland & Labrador and The Northwest Passage at charter destinations within CAC’s selected charter operations loop into Newfoundland, Labrador, Northwest Passage, Spain, Canary Islands, Bahamas, and the Antarctic. Be part of the team that builds a charter yachting destination industry in Newfoundland & Labrador, establishing our yachting hub for Newfoundland & Labrador & Northwest Passage Charter Adventures, Submarine Dive Expeditions, Exploration, Treasure & Shipwreck Recovery, Underwater Film/Documentary Entertainment, Climate Change/Global Warming Research, including Marine Research for Medical Cures for Diseases.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

Reports to the Chief Investment Officer and the Manager of Operations & Investor Relations at Canadian Adventure Charters.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is an officer position in the Corporation, with responsibility for:

  • Knowledge of the AI telecommunication industry and familiarity with call center software.
  • Be the second point of contact for new investor prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward.
  • Review the subscription agreements of Junior Investor Relations.
  • Interact with potential investors through direct phone calls, emails, social media, and more.
  • Proactively identify issues that investors care about.
  • Meet or exceed investor acquisition targets and quotas by effectively closing investment deals and maximizing conversion rates.
  • Follow up with investors on missing documentation.
  • Conduct in-depth discussions with investors, assessing all risks to understand their financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
  • Explain the share subscription agreement that contains the terms of the deal between CAC and the investor.
  • Coordinate with lawyers to ensure that all legal requirements are met.
  • Keep the Minute Book up to date and organized for investor inspection.
  • Present the letter of intent to lay out the big picture about terms and conditions of the potential investment.
  • Guide shareholders in how the company is being managed if they wish to have a shareholders’ agreement in place.
  • Prepare all paperwork required by CAC, including investment forms and government requirements.
  • Establish, build, and maintain relationships with shareholders to reinforce management and CAC credibility.
  • Work closely with department directors to brainstorm process improvements.
  • Help prepare and distribute financial reports, including annual reports and quarterly earnings reports.
  • Ensure that the company complies with securities laws and regulations.
  • Deal with complaints or doubts to safeguard the company’s reputation.

Operations/Quality Assurance and Investor Satisfaction Excellence

  • Ensure that investor interactions meet or exceed company standards.
  • Address investor escalations and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Maintain an investor-centric focus, seeking ways to enhance the overall investor experience across the call and contact center.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Own a phone.
  • Have a laptop or computer with internet.
  • Be able to work at least 6 hours a day.
  • Proven track record of closing investment deals.
  • 5 years’ experience in Call and Contact Center.

JOB KNOWLEDGE

  • The work requires the following education, knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • 5 years of experience in the industry.
  • Knowledge of the AI telecommunication industry.
  • Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to persuasively present information.
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas, preferably over the phone.
  • Persistent and results-oriented.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, marketing, law, or a related field, or a high school diploma with 5 years’ experience in the industry.
