We are on the quest to find a new UI-UX designer to join our product team in Valencia.

Our product team, responsible for LORIOTs core product, is looking for a UX/UI designer. Working to improve the user experience for our business users and help us deliver new features in an intuitive way.

LORIOT is a global scaleup operating in the Internet of Things industry. Our mission is to make IoT accessible to everyone in the world as we believe that technology plays an essential role in making our planet a better place.

Our team is energetic, motivated, and we would like to add another like-minded person to it. At LORIOT we promote a culture of talent, which is why we are looking for a professional to join and grow within the company rather than collaborating with agencies or freelancers.

Basic Requirements

• Wireframing and UI prototyping
• User-interface design and be passionate about it
• Visual communication
• Strong sense of web design and attuned to the fundamentals of user experience, including accessibility
• Basic technical understanding of web application

Other Relevant Requirements

• Sketch, Figma or another application for interface design

Qualifications & Skills

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, HCI, Design, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience designing and implementing complex UIs
• Young spirited, energetic, easy-going person
• Interested in Internet of Things, gadgets, and technology in general
• Fluent in English, any other languages are an asset and can be put to good use
• Excited about working at a startup and on a small, talented team

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Product team
• Study and design user interfaces to provide the best User Experience to our customers
• Care deeply about design, performance, and execution, but not be a dogmatic perfectionist
• Manage your own time, and work well both independently and as part of a team
• Understand how our products are used
• Participate in designing technical and functional documentation look and feel
• Play an active role in the agile development team
• Review customer feedback
